I recently upgraded my delta printer from a RAMPS board to a smoothieboard, successfully updated the firmware, and tweaked the config file. The SD card will mount and smoothie will connect to Repetier or Pronterface but won't respond to any gcode. I am worried because I had the 12V power reversed earlier; have I fried my board? Because the gcode doesn't work at all I have moved my ATX pwr on lead to an open gnd pin, but once I did that the 12v looked good.

LEDs look ok.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

There is a protection against reversed polarity on the 12V input, so you *should* ( baring freak accident ) be alright there.

Do you have the USB driver installed ? If so and it still doesn't work, can you try using the network interface and see if that works ?

I am using a mac, so no driver issues. I could plug the board to USB and connect to repetier or pronterface and get it to say 'smoothie', but that's as far as it goes. USB connects to the SD card and I am able to edit the config file.
I tried M119 to see if it was a 12V vs. 5V problem, but no. Turned up the debug (M111) in repetier to 9, but no echoes back or anything.
Plugged the printer into our home network, turned network.enable to true in the config file, restarted, green and amber lights on the jacks, but my network is not seeing smoothie as a device (I am using the router software to tell me what's plugged in, where).
Smoothie shows the same behavior when I use Octoprint, replying ok but not responding to any gcode i send.
