I'd like to take the custom settings in the generated config-override and merge them into the main config file so that I can delete the config-override file altogether. It's confusing having the settings in 2 places and when you change a setting in the config file 'nothing changes'. Somehow I''m supposed to know what settings are overridden and then know how to change and re-save the overridden values as you're not supposed to edit the file directly.
Sounds like I have to:
1. Find the M command and syntax of the parameter that I want to change
2. Execute the command
3. Save with M500?
Rather than just typing in the setting in the config file with all the other settings in a human-readable form.
Alternately, could I just have settings that are automatically generated (usually auto calibration) there and not others? E.g. why would I want to override things like motor current and parameters that I've correctly set in the config file and don't need to be overwritten?
